In context of Be Uncomfortable, to ensure that I achieve my goals, I should actively plan on making myself uncomfortable.

Some ways I could do that,

  1. I came back to Pune around 14th January, I have been here for 2.5 months now. And I have been here this long because its comfortable to be at home, specifically to feast on home-cooked food without putting any effort into making it. If I start working from Bangalore again, sure I will lose daily 3-4 hours in chores, but as per my philosophy that discomfort would get more work done out of me.
  2. Another option is to Travel more while working. I could take by bike and just work from a different town each day. The downside is that I will lose more hours travelling in this case and some empty my bank faster - but on a brighter side it might help me meet new people, ideas, and also get work done. Might not get a better opportunity to do this than right now.
  3. Gymming is a universal great option - wake up early (definitely not very comparable) + break sweat/tear muscles daily. Good and healthy option. However, in my case, I prefer learning a sport - like I recently completed a horse riding course. I used to wake up 5:30am daily and bike 17kms to the other side of the city. Then learn for 45 mins and travel back. Since the classes are over now, I am planning to replace this with Boxing. The side goal is to build a better body.
  4. Some mental gymnasium by solving problems - math, physics, business, coding, etc. Pick a problem and solve one daily.

So the list would be,

  1. Wake up early
  2. Practice a sport
  3. Travel to another town
  4. Solve a problem

This plan is not actually new to me, I have been pretty aware that this is what I should be doing to increase my likelihood of fulfilling my goals. However, the simple comfort of home made food was enough to take me off track.
